Tuesday 7/13
Today I swam a 1300
It consisted of:
500M in 8.33
300--12 25s alternating between free and back
300--4 75s all free (resting 10 sec between)
200 free just over 3 min
Felt pretty solid today, definitely wished I didn't have to stop swimming and head back to work.
Wednesday 7/14
Swam a 1500 today!!
warmup: 500M 8.12
200m 3.20
300m 4--75s of free
warmdown: 500M 8.30
I felt stupendous today. For my first 500, I swam next to this guy and we were perfectly paced, I was baffled and amazed by it the whole time, but it was awesome because it helped to keep me paced and I had that extra encouragement to continue to keep up my speed. I would say this definitely contributed to my time 15sec faster. We shared the lane up until part of the way through my last 500...which if monday i felt like i couldn't breathe, I felt like I didn't need to today! That last 500 was still pretty darn quick.
I was going to ride into work tomorrow, but they're calling for afternoon storms. I really don't wanna get soaked, plus it's supposed to be close to 100 degrees. So I'm saying it here, so I will do it. I am running in the morning. It's been waaaay too long.
